In 1948 Harry Snyder introduces California’s first drive-thru hamburger restaurant stand in a space barely 10 feet square at Francisquito and Garvey in Baldwin Park. Every day before dawn, Harry would visit the meat and produce market to pick out fresh ingredients, which he prepares by hand. Meanwhile, his wife Esther diligently takes care of all the accounting for the new restaurant at their home right around the corner. Talk about teamwork. Situated on the site where the Snyders’ home stood in 1948, In-N-Out University gets its own building after operating just around the corner in store #1 since 1977. Rich Snyder launches the new facility in December, ensuring that entry level managers from all In-N-Out restaurants receive the training that lets our guests look forward to the highest quality food, cleanliness and customer service. In 1994 In N Out opens their 100th location in Gilroy, California. At this point only California and Nevada remain the only states with IN N Out burgers. Over the years In N Out burgers kept growing quickly. By January 7, 2015, the  family of restaurants served quality burgers, fries, and shakes across five states: CA, NV, AZ, UT, and TX. It has since kept growing. In N Out hamburgers are no ordinary fast food hamburger chain. They are one of the few places with fresh never frozen fries and 100% pure beef meat patties.
