In past years, the company has engaged in various forms of charity during various times of the year, including the dollar for dollar match program. This year, the POS provider announced it’s “Click and Help” program with Facebook. The company is donating to feed the hungry for each ‘Like’ it receives on its Facebook page and www.Facebook.com/SintelSystemsOnline effective immediate until December 31, 2012. Senior members of the company commented that, “while the click does not cost the individual, it engages all of us to help the less fortunate. Sintel System sees it as our direct responsibility to help those in need.” Email notifications and public outreach programs have been activated to bring attention to this matter. The program is not limited to friends and clients of Sintel Systems. Anyone can Like the company on Facebook and contribute to helping the less fortunate.
In addition to this program, the Sintel Systems also announced its plans to lend assistance to the man’s best friends. “We sometimes overlook the section of our surrounding that really depends on us humans, our fury friends,” commented a staff member. The company will support and donate this Thanksgiving to the Pasadena Humane Society. According to the website (www.PasadenaHumane.org), the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA is non-profit agency providing animal care for abandoned and homeless animals supported by donors.
