Qatar Restaurant Offers Free Meals

While most of the world is looking to get something free (including free restaurant POS), bigger hearts are giving free meals at their restaurants to the less fortunate. Brothers, Shadab Ahmed Khan and Nishad Ahmed Khan, are the owners of a quaint restaurant in Doha’s “Industrial Area.” On the outside window sits a sign inviting those with a hungry stomach to enter free of charge.
A few weeks ago the brothers had come across a customer who said he did not have enough money to pay for the meal thus they decided to give it to him free of charge.
Many of Qatar’s workers are low-income migrants and struggle to afford food and other basic necessities. Laborers are not paid on time by employers and cause them to often lack funds to sustain themselves. Having come to the realization many of the areas inhabitants were suffering from hunger they decided to offer their whole menu for free to the penniless.
The restaurant, which is open 24/7, will close its doors in a few months. The owners only signed a one year contract for the venue and the location faces potential demolition. Although, the brothers all ready have another location in the works, they plan on two more  locations to continue their charitable work.
