April 24, 2024 – Chipotle Mexican Grill Grill, Inc. (CMG) reported first quarter 2024 results earning $13.37 per share in the first quarter excluding one-time items, , topping analysts’ expectation of $11.68. The California based publicly traded fast food giant opened another 43 stores in line with its goal of opening 7,000 stores and $4 million per storage average volume.

The CEO said that in the last few months they have figured out [by using AI (artificial intelligence and machine learning] how to identify someone who might go less frequent through their digital ordering program and loyalty program to then see how they can target them.
